STIMULATE provided organization and financial support for the organization for the workshop on the Numerical Challenges in Lattice QCD, which was held as a satellite meeting to the Lattice 2022 conference from August 15-17 in Meinerzhagen, Germany. The workshop, which aimed to address computational challenges in lattice QCD simulations, brought together mathematicians from numerical mathematics and lattice QCD physicists. It was attended by 38 participants, including STIMULATE supervisors and fellow Gustavo Ramirez, and was partly funded by STIMULATE funds, as well as funds from a research group established by the German Science Foundation DFG.
