Mostafa Nasr
Mostafa Nasr was born in 1991 in Kalubiya, Egypt. He graduated from the University of Al Azhar (Cairo-Egypt), with a bachelor’s degree in Physics. He continued his studies at the Al Azhar University (Cairo) and obtained a Master in theoretical Physics. In his Master thesis he worked on the "Theoretical Identification of High Spin States in Deformed Nuclei". His current research interests lie in the field of Quantum Chromodynamics, in particular in developing algorithms for high performance computing related to evaluating physical observable in Lattice Gauge theory using parallel architectures.
Mostafa has been selected for the position of ESR8 with joint degree awarding institutions the Università degli studi di Ferrara (UNIFE), the Bergische Universität Wuppertal (BUW) and The Cyprus Institute (CyI). The project entitled "Improving Stochastic Approaches for Selected Inversion" is supervised by Prof. Rafaelle Tripiccione-UNIFE, Prof. Andreas Frommer-BUW and Prof. Constantia Alexandrou-CyI.
