Malak Diab
Malak Diab is a Lebanese student, born in Kuwait in 1995. She completed her studies at the Lebanese University receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics in 2016, and a Master’s degree in “Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Analysis” in 2018. In her Master’s thesis she worked on the linear and non-linear fluid-structure interaction problem, with numerical simulations using the splitting operator. Her research interests lie in the field of applied mathematics, in particular in numerical analysis and fluid dynamics.
Malak has been selected for the position of ESR3 with joint degree awarding institutions The Humboldt University of Berlin (HUB), University of Rome Tor Vergata (UTOV) and The Cyprus Institution (CyI). The project entitled “Splitting Methods for Partial Differential Algebraic Systems” is supervised by Prof. Caren Tischendorf, Prof. Nazario Tantalo and Prof. Constantia Alexandrou.
