Ke Zuo

Ke Zuo was born in 1992 in Chengdu, China. He received his bachelor degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering from the Chengdu University in 2015. Subsequently, he began his postgraduate study in Medicinal Chemistry under the supervision of Prof. Jianping Hu in Sichuan Industrial Institute of Antibiotics, Chengdu University and graduated in June 2018. His master’s thesis was titled “Molecular recognition and three-dimensional quantitative structure-activity relationships of LpxC/NDM-1 inhibitors”. After receiving his MSc, he worked as a research assistant in College of Chemistry, Fuzhou University with Prof. Jinyu Li. His area of interest is computational biomedicine.

Ke has been selected for the position of ESR16 with joint degree awarding institutions Hebrew University (HU), University of Ferrara (UNIFE) and the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH). The project entitled "Drug Design for the NEET proteins involved in Progressive Neurological Diseases" is supervised by Prof. Rachel Nechustai, Prof. Paolo Carloni and Asst. Prof. Fabio Schifano.
